A VANCOTT wall, resolved at pixel level

Resolution is the product

Every wall is a grid of decisions

Pitch, brightness and viewing distance decide what a screen can actually resolve. Specify them from the site and the picture holds from the far kerb; specify them from a catalogue and it does not.

Screens that stay switched on

Anyone can sell you a wall of LEDs. The difference shows up in the second year, in the structure holding it, the power protecting it and whether somebody answers when a module fails.

What we install

Every kind of wall

Outdoor SMD

Facade and roadside screens, IP65 sealed, specified for daylight readability and Pakistani weather.

Indoor SMD

Lobby, retail and auditorium walls where pitch is chosen from how close people actually stand.

COB fine-pitch

Boardrooms, studios and control rooms where the surface has to survive contact and hold up close.

Video walls

Multi-cabinet arrays with seamless joints and a processing path built for live sources.

Flexible LED

Curved facades, columns and creative architectural forms.

Digital signage

Networked screens across multiple sites, scheduled and managed centrally.

What decides the number

Why two screens the same size are not the same price

We quote against the site rather than publishing a rate, because a number given before seeing the wall is designed to win a phone call, not to hold. Mid-range work is priced per square foot; high-end installations are priced as a whole solution. These are the factors that move either figure, in roughly the order they matter.

Pixel pitch
The single largest driver. Halving the pitch roughly quadruples the number of LEDs in the same square foot, so two screens of identical size can differ several times over in cost. Specify pitch from viewing distance, not from a spec sheet.
Screen area
Mid-range installations are priced per square foot, so area moves the total more than any other single dimension. A wall two feet taller is not a small change, and it is worth sizing the screen to the viewing distance rather than to the wall.
Indoor or outdoor
Outdoor cabinets are sealed to IP65, run several times brighter and carry heavier power and heat handling. The same pitch costs more outdoors, and an indoor panel put outside fails quickly.
Structure
Wall-mounted, ground-supported, cantilevered off a facade or rigged from a roof. Steel, fabrication and access frequently cost more than people expect relative to the screen.
Processing and control
Sending and receiving cards, the processor tier, and whether the installation needs redundancy or a backup path for a screen that cannot go dark.
Power and protection
Distribution, surge protection and stabilisation. In Pakistani conditions this is what decides whether the screen survives its first year, and it is the first thing a cheap quotation removes.
Site access
Height, crane or hoist requirements, road or lane closure, and whether the work has to happen at night. Access can change the schedule and the cost of the same screen.
Service and warranty
Spare module holding, response time and who actually attends when a module fails. A warranty is only worth the engineer behind it.

Pitch range supplied

From chip-on-board fine pitch for boardrooms and studios, out to coarse outdoor pitches read from across a road. The pitch follows the distance, never the brochure.

The signal path is the install

Most screens that fail in year one do not fail at the panel. They fail somewhere along this chain, a scaler that cannot hold a live feed, a single sending card with nothing behind it.

How a quotation is built

Per square foot, or per solution

Mid-range installations
Quoted per square foot of screen, with structure, power protection and commissioning itemised separately so you can see what is screen and what is everything else. It makes two quotations genuinely comparable.
High-end installations
Quoted as a single price for the whole solution rather than a rate per foot. At this level the screen is the smaller part of the engineering, structure, redundancy, processing and integration are specified as one system, and pricing them per foot would misrepresent the job.
What is always separate
Travel, access and any civil or steel work are priced up front rather than appearing later. A quotation that hides them is not cheaper, it is just later.

The questions worth asking

How do you quote, per square foot or per project?
Both, depending on the tier. Mid-range installations are quoted per square foot of screen, with structure, power protection and commissioning itemised separately so two quotations can actually be compared. High-end installations are quoted as a single price for the whole solution, because at that level the screen is the smaller part of the engineering and a rate per foot would misrepresent the job. Travel, access and any steel or civil work are always shown separately rather than appearing later.
How much does an SMD screen cost in Pakistan?
There is no single rate, and any supplier quoting one before seeing the site is guessing. Cost is driven by pixel pitch, total area, indoor or outdoor construction, the structure needed to carry the screen and the power protection around it. Pitch alone can multiply the figure several times over for the same size of wall. Send the wall size and viewing distance on 0320-4119900 (Director) or 0321-9458888 (CEO) and we quote against the actual site.
What pixel pitch do I need?
Pitch follows viewing distance. A screen people stand three metres from needs a far finer pitch than a facade read from across a road, and paying for fine pitch on a distant screen is money spent on resolution nobody can resolve. We specify it from the survey rather than from a catalogue.
How long does an installation take?
The screen itself is usually the fastest part. Fabrication, structure and site access set the schedule, and work at height or over a road often has to happen at night. We give a date range after the survey, not before it.
What happens when a module fails?
Front-access cabinets let a module be swapped without dismantling the wall, which is why we specify them. What matters more is who attends and how fast, and whether spares are held locally rather than ordered from abroad.
Do you install screens outside your main cities?
Yes. Installation and service run nationwide. Travel and access are priced in the quotation up front rather than added afterwards.
Can you take over a screen someone else installed?
Often, yes. We survey what is there, tell you honestly what is serviceable and what is not, and quote repair or replacement separately so the decision stays yours.
